March Madness

We won our first round playoff game in the Immanuel Bible Basketball league today. (Our team name is March Madness) We were playing against the team last (12) in the league and even though we were a 5th seed, they gave us a really great game. They missed a buzzer beater 3 pointer that would have won it for them. So not exactly a confidence builder going into Tuesday's game. And we'll be without Jason Benjamin, which hurts a lot. He might be our best player, though you'd never know it talking to him.

Don't let his humble nature fool you, he's good. Real good. He and Jeremy are our high scorers and both of them can shoot the ball from deep and both have this great habit of driving the lane, jumping into someone's chest, hanging, double clutching, and then flinging the ball up off the glass for the score and foul. Fun to watch.

Hopefully we can win the game on Tuesday so Jason can play with us the next game. Don't bet on it though. The team we play next blew us out the last time we met. Oh well. I has been a fun year.
