The Blizzard of '09

Last year we only had a little bit of snow but this year we had a little bit more...

When the snow was falling on Saturday, we decided to stay warm indoors.  On Sunday we ventured out to let Kira experience snow for the first time.  She was a little unsteady in her snow gear, so she was most content to sit in her sled or wedged into the snow.   The sled was difficult to pull in the deep snow so we got quite a work out.  We also had to keep the sled from passing over our deep footprints because it would cause Kira to tip over into the snow!  Kira then sat contentedly in her sled while she watched her Daddy juggle snowballs and build a snowman.
