Settling In

We have been in our new home for almost two weeks now and it's starting to feel more like home and less like a vacation home that doesn't belong to us.  Jeff's family came to stay with us for a week and they were a big help (along with my parents) as we got settled.  It was a week full of home repairs and improvements, cleaning, organizing, and shopping.  We had beautiful weather and were able to enjoy our great backyard and eat outside a lot.  Most of the boxes have been unpacked at this point but I still have a lot of decorating and organizing to do.

Kira loves the new house and has made a new friend, a girl a few houses away that is only a couple of weeks older than her.  Logan has no idea that he is in a new house but he has been changing so much.  He can now sit on his own and only topples over occasionally.  He loves to sit for long periods of time, playing with (and chewing) his toys.

  1. Glad to hear you're feeling settled. I think Logan looks so much like his sister. :)
