[/caption]After eating too much as usual, we decided to walk around the mall. We came out of the elevator at Macy's and Jeff nudged me and pointed to some tall black guy in front of us. He said it was Gilbert Arenas (the star of the Washington Wizards). We walked behind him and his son for a little bit, while I bugged Jeff to go say hi to him. Jeff jogged to catch up with him and introduced himself as a fellow blogger that follows his blog (apparently he doesn't write on it anymore) and has a blog of his own for the Celtics. Jeff gave him his card and shook his hand, as well as the hand of his young son. At that point my mom and I caught up to him and Gilbert was really friendly and immediately shook our hands as Jeff introduced us. My mom was really excited to meet him and probably watches most of his games. Kira wasn't too impressed and just hung out in her stroller. We saw Gilbert a little later in Pink.

Really exciting for me! Jeff noticed he was wearing a Wizard jacket so he wasn't trying to hide. He was really friendly and didn't seem to mind us talking to him. He wasn't as tall as I thought he would be. Guess I expect basketball players to all be as tall as Jeff or taller!
