Library Adventures

This past week I took Kira to the library for her first story hour experience.  We met our friends there and had a picnic lunch while we listened to some fun stories, sang songs, and celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday.  After reading Hop on Pop, the kids each got a piece of bubble wrap and were allowed to hop on it and make it pop!  I don't know how much of the stories Kira actually heard, but she seemed to have a really good time!

We decided to go back to the library the next day for another story hour.  This one was about trains so we brought Papa and Grandma along.  Kira listened to train stories, sang songs, and made a train puppet.   She brought her conductor's hat, but wasn't in the mood to wear it.
