Long Lost Friends

After two long years, our good friends have traveled back from Abu Dhabi for a summer visit.  It's hard to believe that Kira was only a baby the last time we saw them.  We have already done a lot of fun things with them and are looking forward to more fun stuff in the upcoming weeks.

Kira enjoyed having Kieran and Alek over to play at our house.  It's funny to see Kira with a friend who is so much taller than her (Kieran is one week older).






We also had a good time going to Cub Run, an indoor water park.  Unfortunately, the power went out and we were only able to stay for 30 minutes but the kids didn't seem to mind.  We will definitely be going back there again!

    what do they put in the water in Abu Dhabi? those are some tall kids!

    i don't think we really want to know what they put in the water (or anything else, for that matter) :) it's so good to see you guys again! we've missed you all a bunch!!

    It's been fun seeing the Rhoton family again. We've really missed them. It does seem odd to see a little girl Kira's age who is taller than her!
